Our plan for the new house
We finished our plan for our new house! It became a lengthy document detailing how we plan to layout our lot. We sent the proposal to the municipality for approval, so we will need to wait patiently for the answer.
I will not publish it here, but I can show the artwork on the first page.
The lot is designed in Fusion 360 and also rendered in Fusion 360. I created it so that if you look at it from the top, it gives a 2D map of the document's layout. I had to make many versions of the map for the plan, and I did that by hiding various parts of the model for different sections of the document.
I also created a legend in 3D with cubes that had the colors of the lot's various functions. The gray is a public road. Next to the road, you find bluish-green, that is the verge. The dark red is hardened ground. The lighter red is the part of the lot with a "free" purpose for houses and teras. The light green is for farming and gardening. The green around the lot is for people to walk past the lot. The blue circle an excess water pond. Later we changed it to a Simcard shape. If it rains heavily, then this pond will take care of the water. The orange is three parking spots. The purple is for cleaning the wastewater.
Now we will start talking with a building company about building the main house. The two smaller buildings will be created later. Also, we will be involved in a road association to be established for the road. It will build the road for the members, and all that want to build houses here will need to become a member of that association.
Right now, there is nothing to be seen at the location. It is empty farmland. The farmer using this land could rent it, and his contract will end this year.
In the picture, you can see development on one side, and that is correct. That is a neighbor that has come much further in their project.
I moved from Sweden to The Netherlands in 1995.
Here on this site, you find my creations because that is what I do. I create.
