Portrait of a dressed female model

This drawing is made during the first part of the course at de Kunstlinie. We were using only charcoal in the beginning. This was new to me but not at all something that I had problems with. Iwona gradually added challenges to the exercises. At this stage she requested that we would learn how to use hard versus soft charcoal to create soft and hard tones in the drawings. On these drawings you see a portrait of a dressed female model.
