Realistic looking imagination

A pregnant Mexican model came to de Stoker on 11 March and 25 March. She got a really comfortable position in a pile of pillows to make the session so model friendly as possible.

The model was looking straight ahead and from my position I could not see the eyes. If I was about to paint what I was seeing then she would look like she was sleeping. I tried to get the model look up at a different spot but then other painters was already busy with painting the actual view of the models face and eyes so that was not possible.

Then I decided to make up the eyes. I had to paint something realistic looking eyes from what I could imagine.
