The Takeover

Here is a music piece I made in FL Studio. It is called “The Takeover”. The idea is that the piano is taking over the melody of the trumpet. They are battling about the melody. I made this into a youtube video. Unfortunately the sound level is a bit low. The photos are from the Whit Monday photo shoot.

If you listen to the music more than three times in a row you will probably notice more and more variation. It starts at 137 BPM. I use a nice standard kick drum and a snare drum. Then the trumpet is played at a really high pitch.

Then progressively the tempo increase all the way to the end. I wonder what genre this is. Is it techno or house?
