Trying out Synfig animation software

Here is my first attempt of making an animation with the Synfig animation software. It is freeware to be found at www.synfig.org. It is a complex program. I have been watching a couple of youtube movies about the program.

The rendering of the gif was not working so well. I figured out that if I exported the frames separatly and imported them as layers in Gimp then Gimp could render the Gif much better. It was not possible to render to other formats so easy.
