Boat in Bålsjön, Vågdalen, Jämtland

This drawing shows a boat in Bålsjön. There is ice on the water. Between the reflection of the treetops and the shoreline the paper is almost untouched.

It must have been wind still.

The boat is giving structure to the drawing. Reflection of water is an endless inspiration for drawings and paintings. Cannot get enough of it.

I was born 1967 in Stockholm, Sweden. I grew up in the small village Vågdalen in north Sweden. 1989 I moved to Umeå to study Computer Science at University of Umeå. 1995 I moved to the Netherlands where I live in Almere not far from Amsterdam.
