Paler than the original

Every painting you are making you try to do to the best of your capacity even though it is hard to succeed every time. That is true also for this painting. I made this painting 5th of August 2007.

This is a painting of a house with the traditional Swedish dark red color. This painting looks very pale compared to the real house. Oh well I need to remake it another time with a better interpretation of the color of the house.

So the problem with the painting is in the color of the house but the achievement of the painting can be found in the trees. I succeeded making a planning of how to fill in the greens and the sky. At this time I was pretty much "afraid" of greens but here is the moment when I started to understand green.
