Sloping road in France or Italy
This acrylic painting is made with an opaque acrylic technique. This is a street in a little village or city in Italy or France. What you might not notice at first sight is that the street is sloping heavily. There are rails on the walls to help the pedestrians so that they have something to hold on to when they climb this street. The street-tiles have a nice coloring tarnishing. Unfortunately are there no pedestrians walking the street. First you don’t notice there are no people but then you cannot help to notice that the people are missing in this picture. If there had been at least one elderly person with long white hair carrying a heavy bag of grocery climbing up the street that would make this image fabulous.
