Spruce tops

This linoleum cut is made at school. Exactly when I made this is hard to say. I can see that I engraved my initials in the cut but later I must have decided that was not so nice and filled it with black. The inspiration here is clearly the moonlight over the trees in the little village Vågdalen, Jämtland Sweden. This theme comes back a number of times in my early work.

I was born 1967 in Stockholm, Sweden. I grew up in the small village Vågdalen in north Sweden. 1989 I moved to Umeå to study Computer Science at University of Umeå. 1995 I moved to the Netherlands where I live in Almere not far from Amsterdam.
