Fairy putting flower in the hair, Aquarelle
After painting the Heineken beer cap on 10 November 2011 the evening was not over. There was still 30 minutes left before it was time to pack the painting things and go home.
I decided to use these thirty minutes to make a painting of a photo of a girl standing with her hands on her head, busy with putting a flower in the hair. On the photo the girl looks like a fairy that just landed and magically unfolded her wings and made these invisible. She stands there putting a flower in her hair turned away from us. This is just before the moment she would turn around and meet your eyes.
Whatever… I had 30 minutes so I made a pencil draft in 2 minutes and painted the background in 5 minutes. Then I had to paint the girl. No time for thinking just time for doing.
Okay it is nice but I will come back to this motive another time. Then I will use more time for painting this.
Langton paper 300 gr/m2.
