Living room
These two paintings were made 21 of October 2010 during a theme evening of Interior view. I had contemplated about using a photo with a nice model on a sofa or something but I gave up that. That is for later! Instead I chose this living room. It turned out to be harder than I had anticipated. At least that is how I remember it.
The first painting I made was done on a flat paper. That paper has no grain at all. I have made some fantastic paintings on that paper but this time I was not delighted.
In the second painting that evening I used a paper with grain. Unfortunately I was running out of time so I had to be quicker and that is not a good thing on architectural motives. Patience is better.
