JENS MALMGREN I create.

Oostvardersdiep

For this painting I had a special idea to try out: glossy medium for the water and for the sky the original matte finish. When the light is right a couple of sparkles are reflected from the water area of the painting.

In a painting with one horizon and for the rest no perspective clues it is really important to use the atmospheric perspective by making distant parts of the painting grayish. I also worked on making the nearest parts more detailed.

I made this painting 5th of September 2010.

I moved from Sweden to The Netherlands in 1995.

Here on this site, you find my creations because that is what I do. I create.
