Ceramic Honeysuckle Relief
Today I started on a ceramic sculpture, a relief with a honey suckle motive. I created the pattern for this relief 6th of June 2010. I have also made this into a sculpture but it did not succeed as I had hoped. It cracked. Now I decided to make a new relief with this motive. This time I made the relief plate out of smaller clay balls that I squeezed together. This method will theoretically avoid cracks. Later when this has dried I plan to bisque fire this sculpture in a wood fired oven.
I will post more images about this project as it progress.
