Chromium teapot

With the success of the chromium nutcracker and the glass exercise it was time to raise the bar a notch. So for this I polished my chromium teapot for a still life. And hereby I painted two aquarelles: One view in front of the teapot and the second view looking into the mirror of the teapot. As an extra bonus I painted myself as well. On this aquarelle you see a lit candle, the chromium teapot, the tea cup with spoon and plate, and finally a little cup of candy in red packages. Actually this was the Swedish Dajm candy that you can get from the food store of Ikea. I love photos and paintings showing more about the surroundings in the reflection of shiny objects. The painting of me is obviously very simplified. I took a note of this and figured that I had to add painting of humans to the long list of things to try out.

I moved from Sweden to The Netherlands in 1995.

Here on this site, you find my creations because that is what I do. I create.
