“Electricity”, “Industry” and “Steam”

Yesterday when I was waiting for the tram to get to de Stoker for another session of painting a nude model I was thinking about how nudity is an issue and at that exact moment it occurred to me that I was standing in front of a display of public nudity and it is fine art!

This is from the left side of the train station in Amsterdam. The texts says “Electricity”, “Industry” and “Steam”. To that I would add “Nudity”.

I was born 1967 in Stockholm, Sweden. I grew up in the small village Vågdalen in north Sweden. 1989 I moved to Umeå to study Computer Science at University of Umeå. 1995 I moved to the Netherlands where I live in Almere not far from Amsterdam.
