At the course Model and Portrait by Iwona at de Kunstlinie I got a surprise on 7 December 2011, we were going to use chalk like crayons. I was thinking that this would be easy but that was not true. It takes much less effort to work with wet paint when you want to fill larger areas with color compared to these dry crayons. This paper is really big so it required much determination to make complete use of it.
In the exercise this evening we were supposed to concentrate on the face and the rest of the body was had to be sketchier.
I used different shades and colors in the face so the skin a fully variation that is much different with the rest of the body.
