Three clementine’s

Here on this painting I was still exploring the possibilities of acrylic paint. Clementine´s are delicious fruits and so lovely to look at. Actually all citrus fruits are marvelous, I am almost addicted to orange juice. The orange color is also something that I like very much. I have been wearing an orange hat outdoors for many years now. Not just orange but neon orange. The problem with my neon hat is that it is wearing out. When I bike in rainy weather the neon is washed out.


 Until now I solved that by buying a new hat every year. This summer I had planned to buy a new hat but the shop where I use to buy the neon orange hat had none. I buy the hat in Sweden. It is a hat that hunters use to avoid being shot but I figured out that it works really well in the traffic when biking as well.

I think I might need to improve the neon of the hat myself. I have neon acrylic paint so it is just a question of painting I suppose?

I was born 1967 in Stockholm, Sweden. I grew up in the small village Vågdalen in north Sweden. 1989 I moved to Umeå to study Computer Science at University of Umeå. 1995 I moved to the Netherlands where I live in Almere not far from Amsterdam.
