The Wave

This is a painting of the houses at Lake Weerwater in Almere. The second house from the left is “The Wave”. This was a good motive but the day for painting it was right out awful but this was late summer 2010 and I was determined that even if the weather was cold and windy and almost raining I would paint this day. In the end I was really cold and I hated the whole situation and the painting too so when I finished the last brush I packed my things and went home and had a hot cup of milk chocolate and I dragged a blanket over myself on the couch and I stayed there until my state of mind was happy and my limbs were warm.

I was born 1967 in Stockholm, Sweden. I grew up in the small village Vågdalen in north Sweden. 1989 I moved to Umeå to study Computer Science at University of Umeå. 1995 I moved to the Netherlands where I live in Almere not far from Amsterdam.
