Utrecht
Each time I come to Utrecht I think "this is a really beautiful city".
Also the people in Utrecht are beautiful. In Utrecht they have canals with quays below the street level. The quays are connected to the houses above through a store house under the street. This is clever.
When you walk around in central Utrecht you only see what appear to be authentic facades on the buildings. If there are new houses in between then they are not dominating the picture.
My painting is made from a photo I found on Internet of Utrecht in the autumn. The other day when I came there and took a photo it was summer.

I was born 1967 in Stockholm, Sweden.
I grew up in the small village Vågdalen in north Sweden. 1989 I moved to Umeå to
study Computer Science at University of Umeå. 1995 I moved to the Netherlands
where I live in Almere not far from Amsterdam.
